Is cited as living with her grandfather, Thomas Austin, in 1881 census. Listed as a boarder but with the same family, 1891. Two possible sons at this time - out of wedlock?

1901 census: living with Thomas Austin Jnr (possibly her father) employed by him as housekeeper. Her name is misspelled (Humphery), and mistranscribed on Ancestry (Jasbella) which made it a sheer fluke that I stumbed across her. However, she is livingwith three of her children, and they have corresponding entries in the birth register as Humpage, so I'm confident that this is them.

This makes it seem more likely that Thomas is Isabella's father, particularly as a Sarah Humpage was employed at the Burroughs house, the same one as Thomas worked at, in the census following the one where he featured. I can find nothing to suggest that Isabella's birth was ever registered, so it will be impossible to prove it.
