Samuel C. Elmore
Mason City, Nov. 28 -- Samuel C. Elmore died Thursday morning in his home here. The body was removed to Henderson Jennings funeral
home.
Mr. Elmore was born in Mason Co., Dec. 16, 1876, a son of William and Elizabeth Elmore. His wife, the former Amy Godby, whom he
married in 1904, died in 1940. Surving are five daughters, Mrs. Madeline Merritt of Mason City, Mrs. Dora Shults and Mrs. Vera Spencer,
both of Peoria; Mrs. Beulah Seward of Havana and Mrs. Florence Tongate of Wato, Washington; one son, Samuel W., Mason city; three
sisters, Mrs. Rosie McLaren of Pekin, Mrs. Florence Sunberg of Galesburg and Mrs. Lena Kendorf of San Francisco.
