Thank you, I've been updating my site with the help of your site and I upgraded my account because I had no more room on my site so I now have more room.
Do know why Juditth stayed in Russia when Ethel, Asher, Shimon and the kids immigrated to canada?
Also is there any why you could get photos of the any of the head stones. Anna just started doing her fmily tree at school for her roots project at school. Do you follow the custom of visiting the cemetarys to say kadish during Rosh Shanna & Yom Kippur that we do here? I can send you what ever photos I have here of the head stones for you interest. We have an extensive project thru the jewish historical society where we hepled photograph headstones in jewish cemetaries here in winnipeg along with other jewish communites all over Canada.

As for your question about Judith Boonov I understood that she did not want to immigrate to a strange and far away place. She stayed with her son Avraham and his wife. They died in Russia during because of hunger in 1922 or even before.
As for head stones I can not say that I enjoy visiting cemataries. Most of the people in the family are spread out and I have no idea for the location. Sorry I can't help.
I want to load your picutes but it is not working well can you put it in picasa thrugh Gmail?
Do you have any info about Asher step brothers family (Cook Alter, Kalman and Aharon?

I did not know that . What an interesting fact. Actually how many brothers and sisters did she have? Did they all die in Russia? Do we know their names, Also do we know what her parents names? Shimons? Any thing els that you know would be great.
As to cemetaries I hear you I feel the same but what can I say ... But TRADITION...My mother in law's family always did, so I participate with them out of respect.
Also I will email you what I have and wish you to do so as well , but I will try to do it with explantions wherever possible.
I'll talk to Solesta and try to find out what I can. I need full names ages and who they married if possiible. Do you have them on the family tree. I'll check after Yom Kippur. I have to get some stuff done 1st.
