For example, take your fathers, and his father, and his. Use the genealogy tab at the top of these pages, and hit the research tab. This site has an excellent search engine. Put in your dads name and I'm sure you'll find plenty hits. I'm in the north of Ireland and neither of the names are familiar in my area. The best of luck with your research.
