John CarpenterAs far as I know, I am not related, but. I am related to Carpenters in Colorado where he was born but am out of touch with them. The early westward movement of the Carpenters left dome in Missouri, Colorado, Texas and Utah. Several of the Utah Carpenters are in touch with the Colorado people. I will ask them about it when I see them. My family went from Virginia to Kentucky and then to Indiana. I live in Utah now where there are many of us. Good luck on your search.
