I had a British-born aunt who married a US serviceman in 1944 (in the UK) and they moved back to Virginia after WW1. 2 of their daughters married Arwood brothers.
My Arwood/Arrowodd info comes from 2 main sources - the 2 brothers (Arvil and Roy Arwood) who are still alive in Va and an Arwood History written by Robert L. Arwood (of Rockford, TN and dated 1992).
So, I have a direct ancestor of Roy and Arvil, John Arrowood (1797-????) with children Barbary (1837-????) and Francis (1840-1935) + 11 other children from 1820 to 1848.

just wanted to let you know that James Edward Thurlow 's wife was for certain sarah elizabeth "lizzie" parrott, and not adelaide thrower as shown on your tree. i Know this for sure as they were my mother's grand parents and she remembers them. He was a policeman.
