mary gingerich We have a family member in common: Joseph [Aertse] Orser [1725-1783]. The line is through Adelaide Dell, wife of Harvey Franklin Degeer, to Solomon Orser [1761-1840;

My husband's maternal line [McKeown to Sykes to Orser] leads to Gilbert Orser [br to Solomon].

Andy Fuller Hi Thelma!

I hope you are well

A smarmatch search shows that we share John Wardell (1640-1719) married to Anna (d.1693) on our trees. It looks like we share a history! Could I please request that we become members of each others sites to research further? I'm new to this and don't know how to do this. Can you help?

My email address is andy.fuller@gmx.com

Kind regards

Andy Fuller

Elizabeth Cannon Hello Thelma,
The names you list as researching do not include mine. I am researching: CANNON, MITCHELL PARROT, CHAMBERLAIN. We do however have shared members. I am a direct descendant of JOHN MITCHELL, my mother was Eevelyn Helen Mitchell and I am Elizabeth Patricia CANNON as you will see on my site (if I can find out how to make you a member!). Would like to hear your comments please. Liz.

valerie price-currer Hi Thelma

I believe we have spoken in the past re Osborne family? I apologise if I did not get back to you.

If you are still interested in this family I would be most happy to share what I have. However one is often contacted and after replying with info I have found some people use the info and cut you off from further contact. Have you found this? I am interested only in those with whom I can share info and also hopefully get something in return also.

If this person is you let me know. I have extensive info of the Osbornes of Devon.

My nan was Florence Osborne of Kapunda Sth Australia, parents John osborne III and Elizabeth Partridge, grandparents John Osborne II and Elizabeth Turpin. They came to Australia with 4 children one of whom was John III, born in Devon. Most of the family are still in Sth Australia, however my Nan came to Victoria around 1900, my Mum was born in 1903 in Richmond Victoria. Nan married Andrew Mollison, born in N.Z (Dunedin) but his parents Agnes Lisk and George Mollison were migrants to N.Z. from Arbroath Scotland. All their children were born in N.Z and Victoria. Nan and grandfather Andrew married in 1902 in Victoria.

However I have found the Osborne family a much more interesting family and they can be traced to Devon for many many generations. They are also an extremely long lived family. Nan died aged 92 but most of her brothers and sisters were in their 90s and 100s at their deaths. Very healthy family!

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards, Valerie, NSW Australia
