Dianne Stackhouse Hi, I noticed you have Peggy Ann Fox in your tree. Peggy and I share great, great, great, grandparents: Anderson Worden & Elizabeth Williams. My line is through Susanne "Caroline" Worden. I would like to know how we might be related.

Lynda Ellis Gibbs William Carroll Martin married Eliza Matilda Ann Gibbs around 1873.. this line from my Gibbs family (and my husbands also)
come down to the Peggy Ann Fox...I don't have any info on the Worden Family so I can't do a kinship record.

You are my first Canada contact!

Ruby Mae Janzen The man in the photo on my site was my husband's great-grandfather, Abraham Janzen 1850-1928 who was married to Katharina Friesen 1862-1942. Thanks for asking - I think he is a striking figure!

Lynda Ellis Gibbs Thank you. since I don't have any Janzen or Friesen in my tree, I can't "borrow" him *S* but it's nice to have him in your family.

Barbara Gibby Hi Lynda, I've started getting back into genealogy after taking a long break from it. How are you related to the Gibby-Panther family? James S. Gibby and Louisa Emmoline Panther are my great grandparents. Their son is my grandfather (Samuel Clingman) and Samuel's son is my father (Chester Clifton Gibby). I got back into the study after taking a DNA test and its genome findings. I've tried to find James time of death and if the S. in his name is Samuel. Do have the information on Louisa's family?

Barbara Gibby James was in the Civil War, having volunteered at Quallaton with the Thomas Legion. He served under James Terrill, Quartermaster at Strawberry Plains in Tennessee. He is described as 5 feet 4 inches, black hair, black eyes and dark skin.
