Apihai & Kiripiro Marunui Had Te Hira Te Kawau and so on, Apihai's sister Puehu Mokorua Te Kawau Married Patu Te Aranui. Together they had Paratene Te Ripi (Te Aranui) who married Mereana Tarakiteuru They begat Wiremu Hongi Te Ripi (Te Aranui) Who is the father of all the Wihongi's in the northland
