carl leonard hi roxanne; thank you for accepting me into your site. my true family name is cary/carey.my grandfather is interred in a family plot in franklindale,bradford county, pa. under the name of carey. there is a plot next to it with the name of cary.in tracking down info on this i have found that the two families lived next door to each other in the middle to end of 1800's.i have also been in contact with a granddaughter from one of the people interred in the cary graves.her name is shary hansel.she lives in endicott city ,n.y.she found pictures taken right after the civil war in her grandmothers bible of my great uncle.a lot of coincidences.could you shed any light on any of this. or possiblity i can help you with your site.shary has told me her folks came from phila.,pa. i am located right outside of philly to the north east.

Roxanne Hansel I will have to do some research, we may be related thru John Hansell born 1740. I do not where he was born. I do know he lived in Virginia for a while and then moved to north carolina. There is a Johann Lorenzo Hentzel(hansell) born 1700 migrated to berks county, pa about 1730.
