Its great to hear from you and that you have some information on the Dalton family that may be of interest to me. I am very interested to know what you have found out. My wife is a direct descendant of the Dalton line and we have read your family tree with interest. My wife`s Great Great Grandfather was Thomas Masters Dalton a solicitor from Cardiff. One of his sons, Thomas Lawrence Dalton, went India in the late 19th century and became a coffee planter in Southern India. He later travelled the world ,visiting N.Y. in the USA probably to visit his brother, Arthur Dalton ,who we believe settled in Winchester/Westchester ?? New Jersey. We have found records of Thomas Lawrence Dalton as a first class passenger on the S.S. Olympic (Titanic`s sister ship belonging to the White Star line) travelling to and from N.Y.before losing track of him when he later sailed for Indonesia in the early 1930`s. He was a bit of a lad leaving a wife and family plus several illegitimate children behind in India.
