My Aunt Elsie Pope was married to an R.V.Martin from Virginia in the late 1930's tiome frame. The lived in Front Royal and later in Middletown Virginia. Any relationship on your husband's side?
Elsie was the youngest child of Charles and Daisy Pope.
Thanks,
Don Pope
From what I can tell I don't have a R. V. Martin (so far). I will keep a lookout and let you know if I find any though. The Martin's I do have are from GA exclusively up to this point.
Thanks for asking...you never know what may turn up one day.
Take care,
Amber Martin
I confirmed the match of LIlly Blanche Sheaffer, which you said was your husband's great-grandmother. She is also my great-grandmother as well. So I'm guessing that would make your husband and I second cousins. Always interesting to find more family!

Yes it is always interesting to find more family! Do you live in PA?
