Jennifer Aditha Banfield (Sickinger) My family originally came from England, but went to Barbados. From there they went to a few islands in the West Indies - Grenada, St. Vincent, and Aruba. Many of those born in the early 1900's immigrated to Canada in the early 1950'. You might be related way back, but your Grandad would have not been part of the family. If you find ancestors who immigrated to Barbados in the late 1700's or early 1800's I would certainly be interested in hearing about it. Good luck with your search.
