My name is Susan, and I am too interested in genealogy. Both of sides of my family is from Ireland, but there in lies the the problem no one know where they came from in Ireland so I am on a search to find out but I really have not gotten very far. My dad's side of the family surname is Asher and my mother's surname is Carnes, I was told once that they might be from the north I am just not sure, I would realy like to get some info on this.
