My love to all, present and past. Live long, and prosper!
David
I am still a little confused as to how we are related. i would really like to know though so that I can connect the dots.
Earl Robinett's father was Amos Edward Robinette. He married Bernice Helena Heft, whose Father was Fred Heft. Fred was married to Eva Bluhm, who was the daughter of Michael Bluhm. Michael was married to Christine Golem, born 1849 in Germany, who is the sister to my Great Grandfather, Gottfried Golem, born 1846 in Germany.
Michael Bluhm married Christine Golem in 1868 in Sullivan Township, Ontario, Canada, and they raised a family of 9 children. In 1889 the whole family moved from Ontario to Oregon. It seems that there were others from Ontario who moved to Clackamus County about the same time, since some of the families that married into our family are of the same names as others still living here in Ontario, where I grew up.
If you go to the family tree, and work backward through these individuals, you will come to Caroline and Gottfried. Then you can move ahead to see where I fit.
My Heritage says you are my third cousin, twice removed.
All the best from this end cousin. If I did not clear up the confusion I'll try again.
David
