I am interested in your research on the JESSOP family, specifically the reference material that identified Charles Jessups date of birth as 1761. Also, I note that you have John Jessop (his son's) date of birth as 1802 and date of death as 1842. We are descended from this line, and I have found it very difficult to find information about Charles. John Brown I got the birth date of Charles Jesup from Glenda Baltaks on Genes Reunited. John's birth date I obtained from a book called 'Jess'ps in Australia'. I have several family trees and agree with your October 27 1885 for John's deathdate which I obtained from Florence Howarth on the 'Howarth Web Site / Morton - Howarth'. I'll update the MyHeritage tree now.
