Hi Lin,
What is the familly connection?
My e-mail ikurth@netsmart.net.nz
Linecor Mark Hall  ( Australia)
Mary Elizabeth King (1862 - 1939) married Henry Mankelow (1853 - 1930) had a sister Alice King who was my father's (Norman's) mother. So Mary was my Great Aunt and Henry my Great Uncle. I'm not sure how you're connected to Henry but it is likely that we are related because of that relation.
My family used to comment that there were 21 years age difference between Alice and Henry, her brother-in-law and I forget how it went, but Alice became her own Aunt!
I wasn't old enough to remember any Mankelows so I had no idea what they looked like (they lived at Area in the King Country if I remember right) so I was intrigued to see thumbnails of most of them.
Thanks for your email addy.
Regards, Lin

Lin,
You may already have it but I have a photo of Henry Mankelow with his wife Mary Elizabeth (King) and three of their daughters. I also have a copy of the log book of John King which has a photo of him in it. If you would like them send me your e-mail address and will send them to you.

Ian

Hi Ian,
There are a number of copies of John King's Log Book in the family, including electronic ones. I believe that I have one someplace here. So thanks for the offer, but no.
Henry and Mary is another thing altogether! I would live a copy of that photo. linmhall@aapt.net.au or linmhall@gmail.com will get me. I'm on a 10Gb/month limit so my main limit is the mailbox size and AAPT (the Oz arm of TelecomNZ) has the smallest at about 6 Mb/item. So if you can, I'd rather you send to the gmail account even though most family members use the other.
I thought that I had sent you my email addy, but maybe not. My Heritage strips some out I think, so I'll duplicate this on my AAPT address.
Thanks Ian,
Regards, Lin
