How long will my calendar take to be delivered once ordered?
Once ordered, your calendar will take about 10 to 15 working days to arrive at your home. You may choose the option to have your calendar delivered via express mail which takes 7-10 days to arrive. We recommended ordering your calendar at the beginning of the work week for fastest shipping.
Can I choose the family members who will be added to the calendar?
It’s possible to customize your calendar to show different branches of your family. You can do this by clicking on the Settings option (from step 2) and selecting the family to include in your calendar. You can later remove specific events if you wish.
Can I order a calendar with no photos?
You will need at least one photo in order to create your calendar.
How many events can be included on a specific date?
Up to five events may be added to one date. One to three events will include photos for the people in the events. Four or more events will not include photos. This is an automatic feature that allows all events to be posted and easily readable on your calendar.
Can I customize my calendar to show another family?
In order to create a calendar you must be associated to the family tree. The calendar centers around your family so you need to be in the tree and you must be associated to the tree in order to create the calendar. If you need help associating yourself to the family tree, here’s an FAQ
What languages can the calendars be printed in?
You’ll be happy to know that calendars may be printed in 13 languages: English, Spanish, French, Finnish, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, Hebrew, Portuguese, Polish, and German.
Can I add events to the calendar that aren’t in my family tree?
You may add events that aren’t automatically included from the family tree by choosing the Customize option (available in step two – “Preview Calendar”). Simply fill in the name of the event in the boxes provided to the right.
What is the best resolution for photos used in the calendar?
We highly recommend using photos with a resolution of no less than 750 pixels for optimal results. A good cover picture needs to be at least 1500 pixels.
How many calendars can I order at one time?
You may order up to ten calendars in one purchase. *The calendars are packaged in groups of threes, so for each three calendars there will be a shipping charge. E.g. If you order one to three calendars you will pay one shipping charge. If you order four to six calendars you’ll pay two shipping charges,
Why aren’t my events appearing on the calendar?
If there aren’t any events in your family tree then you won’t be able to create a calendar. Make sure there are birth and marriage events with dates in your tree for living people before trying to create a calendar. You can also choose to include death anniversaries for loved ones who have passed away.
Can I edit the calendar before I order it?
Absolutely! Simply click on Customize after you have chosen to preview your calendar (Step 2 of the creation process). Once you click on Customize you will see the option to edit photos and events on your calendar.
Why don’t my photos automatically appear on the calendar?
Photos might not automatically appear on your calendar for several reasons. If your calendar doesn’t have any photos, check the following: The photo on the cover of the calendar must have a resolution of at least 1500 pixels. Photos in the top section of each month page must have a resolution of at least 750
How do I create a calendar?
To begin designing your calendar, simply click on the Events tab from the homepage. You can also select the Family Calendar link from the menu on the left on the home page of your family site. This will direct you to begin the process of printing your family calendar.
