When you download and install Family Tree Builder for the first time, you will be asked to register the program.
If you already have an account at MyHeritage.com, you can use your registered MyHeritage.com email address and password to log in. This will allow you to sync your family tree to family sites you’ve already created on MyHeritage.com.
Also, if you are a Premium or PremiumPlus customer, registering Family Tree Builder with your MyHeritage registered email will allow you immediate access to the Premium features in Family Tree Builder, such as SmartMatch Merge and Timeline.
So what happens if you already have an account at MyHeritage.com, but you registered Family Tree Builder with a different email address by mistake?
Simply go to Sync (publishing)> My Sites. Here you can use the ‘Log in as a different member’ link to enter a different email address and password or just change your password.
‘Log in as a different member’ can also be found in the Sync (publishing)>Sync settings menu in Family Tree Builder.
