To confirm a Smart Match in your family tree online, select “Smart Matches” from the Family tree tab.

Select whether you want to view matches by family trees or by people and click ‘View Matches’ next to the name of the project (or person) to see the list of all matches found.

If you’re sure it’s a good match, confirm it now.

If you’re not sure, click “Review Match” to see the match in more detail.

Look at the details of the match to decide if it is valid and then click “Yes – confirm this match” at the top of the screen to confirm.
