Is Family Tree Builder free?

Family tree Builder is a free program, that is downloadable from our website.

There are added features in Family Tree Builder that are only available for Premium users. Premium users, are users that have upgraded a family site.

These added features include: Smart Research, Smart Match Merge, All-in-one chart, Publishing of videos, audios and documents.

If you are a premium user, you will see that the title of the Family Tree Builder window will say “Family Tree Builder Premium”.

If you are not a premium user, FTB will open without the Premium in the title and without access to the features described above.
