My celebrity match looks nothing like me. Why?

Here are some tips to help you get better results from our face recognition features:

  1. Use a good quality photo. Photos should be no smaller than 100K but not larger than 500K.
  2. Photos from web cameras are many times not of good enough quality to use for Face Recognition, try using a photo from a film or digital camera.
  3. Photo should be front facing.
  4. Faces in the photo should be fairly large.
  5. It’s okay to have more than one face in the photo.
  6. If a face is profile only or there is a lot of shadow on the face, it might be hard for Face Recognition to identify.
  7. If your photo is very large (1Mb or larger), it may take a long time to upload and cause timeout errors or come back with a blank screen. Try resizing the photo in a program like Microsoft paint or Picture Manager and then uploading again.
