If I am a new member how do I upload a GEDCOM file at MyHeritage.com?

If you don’t have a family tree or family site at MyHeritage.com, follow the steps below to upload a GEDCOM file and create a family site where you can start building your family tree online.

From the MyHeritage.com home page, click on the “Got a GEDCOM?” link.

Enter your gender, first and last name and email address. Browse your computer for the GEDCOM file and click GO.

After clicking GO, a family site will be created for you. Click on the Family Tree tab to view the tree. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the GEDCOM file.
