Hi, my familie's original last name was spelled Brusic. Though it was changed when my great grandfather or grandfather came here from the island of Krk. My Brothers and our Father and I are traveling to Croatia this september. Our main objective is to find family. My Grandfather Vincent (Vinko) son of Peter Brusic came to this country when he was about 15-16 years old.

My grandfather Nicholas Brusich came to the US in 1913 at the age of 16 or so. He came from the island of krk as well. I don't know if he had any siblings. i intend top find out more. He died in 78 and didn't talk much about his childhood. I defo know his father was a bit off a tyrant on the island. Not exactly sure what that meant. I have pictures of his mother. I can't recall her name right now. mbrusich at gmail dot com.

Hi, do you currently live in the US? I'm located in San Pedro, CA. (suburb of Los Angeles). I think my grandfather Vincent came here in the early 40's and died sometime in the 60's he had a Brother that was killed in WW1 I think. Don't know his name though. Vincent's Father came here just before him. His name was Peter. Not sure of any siblings. There has to be some sort of connection. From what I hear, It's not a common last name. Would like to make some connections before I travel there next month. Feel free to contact me. bbrusick21@yahoo.com  or on facebook https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151522328974773&set=a.10150486090614773.379359.678024772&type=1&theater

thanks.

I would love to keep in touch and find out some more information.

My email is MRBRUSICH@gmail.com

Are you still on this thread? I'd like to find any family members from Krk. we are going this september to find family. Our Grandfather Vincent (Vinko) was from there. His last name was changed to Brusick from Brusic. I'm also on facebook. Please look me up. Nothing would make me more happy than to find relatives.

Thanks.
