Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone has had good luck with websites that promise information? I live in Minnesota and most of my relatives lived in Kansas. I'm looking for birth, death, marriage records. Thanks! Kelly
It might well depend on the time period and the current laws in Kansas.And the laws might be different for each type of record. Marriage records are more "public" then birth records.
Ancestry.com is very good but whether they have access to the time period you're working in it's difficult to predict.
Eventually, you'll end up with a rather large collection of resources on and off the web.
Copy, paste and have a go. Tip: don't put too much info into the search at first and try different combinations. Lots of luck and I hope I was of some help.
