I'm researching Dillman lineage, of course. I currently trace a Dillman ancestor back to 1752 or so in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. I'm a member of the Dillman Family Association which has a major reunion every 2 years. See the website at http://www.dillmanfamilyassociation.org for more details.
I am also researching Theisen, Williams, Hengel, Dark, McMurry, Thurston, Day and a host of other names as well. Regions include southern Indiana, Louisiana, South Dakota, Pennsylvania and more in the US, and southwestern Germany and the UK in Europe.
hello im also researching dillmans, just found out that they are my birth family. i need help finding my great great grandparents. my grandfather was born Robert Agustus Dillman and his father is george Kevin Dillman. any help will be appreciated.
Unfortunately, your Dillmans are not in my line. There are about 10 Dillman lines in the United States, some traced back to various places overseas. Mine happens to be one of the minor lines. If you are interested, the Dillman Family Association is having a conference this summer in Fort Wayne, IN. I've gone to most of these - they're a great way to find information on the various Dillman lines. You should check their website at http://www.dillmanfamilyassociation.org for more information.
