Denman migration

My ggrandfather was named William Lafayette, later changed named to William Storm. Both he and a man named Washington Lafayette came to Angelina Country TX, about the same time. There was some confusion about deeds and stuff and he changed his middle name to Storm according to stories. I believe that Storm's father was named Christopher.

William Lafayette Denman aka Wm Storm born Sept 25, 1805 died  Nov 16,1882 Tx, was my gg grandfathers youngest brother by their  father's  (Christopher) first wife Nancy Morgan Denman. He became a MD, married (Dorcas Parr) July 23,1829  then moved from Ga  to Ms and lived on my gg grandfathers land with another brother Morgan. They had Six children one named after my gg grandfather (Felix Gilbert), another William Storm Denman born Nov 26, 1843 Ms.,  died Dec 7, 1917 Tx. After living in Ms they moved to La.,  In 1850 They we living in Township 22 Ward 6, Bossier, Louisiana (US Cenus) then on to Tx. I have read somewhere why William Sr was called Storm instead of  Lafayette, but do not recall where it was.

My son-in-law, who lives in Austin, Tx, has a Denman connection.  Washington Lafayette Denman, son of Felix Gilbert and Nancy (Hutchinson) Denman, I believe was his g or gg grandfather, not forsure which.
