Want to share the following I have collected on Alfredo de Morais SARMENTO:and maybe someone can help me.“A Special Police of Information (in March 26, 1927) was created in Portugal.Followed by the creation of a Special Police of Information in Porto. (in April, 11, 1927) In its front Alfredo de Morais Sarmento who died in Luanda (Angola) 20 March 1930 aged 30 years old”.
I have spent part of my yesterday night on the web making researches on his military career. I remember my father saying that his uncle (father’s brother) was “Tenente de Cavalaria” (Lieutenant of Cavalry) in Luanda (Angola) and died there. Maybe this is the link to my Grandfather?
