I am looking for information on the Leighs who orginated in Warwickshire England where their estate known as Stoneleigh Abbey still remains. When my Leighs came to the States they settled in New Jersey. I know I am related to Ichabod Leigh, known as the butcher of Perth Amboy, Middlesex County New Jersey. I know a lot of names but not dates and all children and where they lived and when some died. I do know my branch of the Leigh family migrated to Ohio where some settled for awhile in Auglaize County. My great, great, great grandfather Daniel and his wife Margaret (Copeland)Leigh are buried at GreenLawn Cemetery in Columbus Ohio. He and his brother Samuel built houses in Groveport Ohio which remain to this day. I'll have to get pictures of them someday. Buried at Green Lawn with Daniel and Magaret are are some of their children, including my great, great grandfather Joseph Leigh, his wife Ida May (Bobst) Leigh and their son my great grandfather Raymond Leigh.
When time permits I plan to get pictures of Daniel and Maggie's headstones, in the meantime I do have a diagram of everyone buried in the Leigh plots at Green Lawn, and hopefully I'll have it up soon.
I'm hoping I have some cousins out there who can help me fill in the blank spots!

Joseph Leigh and Ida May Bobst are my great-grandparents. I remember "Uncle Raymond", their son and brother to my Grandmother, Ethel Victoria Leigh. (Your great grandfather), I played with his daughter, Dixie Jo...is she your Grandmother?? I am one of the "Sage" girls...your mother would know of us. I'm Susan, the 2nd daughter.
