They might be on Micro Film @ IMCC ( Iowa Medical Classification Center) where all new offenders are sent to be classified to other institutions in Oakdale, Iowa...That is where we send all " dead" files people that discharge, parole etc from all the facilities now a days. You would need to write to them, may need to sign a release etc to receive files. I doubt that very thorough records were kept back then .
