Thank you for getting back to me. I have already scanned the Census, but Henry James Mason b. 1885 was a popular name and I couldn't be sure I would pick the right rellie.
I have copies of the Electoral Rolls from 1925 to 1957. Luckily he was living at the same address, other than his name and people living at the address there wasn't much else. Although his name did change to William Henry Mason in 1929 (can't understand why he would do that) and I could find anything on a William Henry Mason either.
He worked / owned a paper stall in Camden Passage.I’ve contacted the local Council to see if they have any info on him, maybe a trading licence, but I haven’t heard back from them. (yet)
I have his marriage cert. of 1908 and his father was listed as deceased, horse dealer named James.
I’ve been trying to track him down for years and I'm at a lost to know what to do next.Any other thoughts would be gratefully received.
Hi, what you got to do google the address you have find out what parishes there are,go to 1901 census put in the parish and scroll through the returns,if you had a street and house number then it would be a stroll in the park,it seems you are in for a long journey, but roots web are doing a free search for 1901.
