Looking for information on some Stevens' in Smith County shortly after 1800. John, James and George Stevens. (also spelled Stephens on some documents) I believe they were three brothers. I know they were involved in some land transactions during the 1820's but cannot find any information on where they came from. Also looking for any information at all on "The Firm of Stevens and Bradford" I think it was a law firm. All I know is John's son George's wedding anouncement said he was from the Firm of Stevens and Bradford in May of 1894.
