At first sorry that I do write in English language. Meiner Deutsche sprache is nicht so. I am Han Dehne and my direct ancestors died for so far as I know in Borghorst. His name was Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Dehne (Dene). He born < 1769 birthplace unknown and he died in Borghorst at 03-07-1836. He was masrried with Sophia Louisa Amersbeck, born at Borghorst on 13-09-1769 and died in 1812 in the same place, exact date is unknown. They had 3 children. First are Ferdinand Wilhelm Dehne, born on 24-05-1797 in Borghorst where he baptist on 25-05-1797 in the Nicomedeschurch at Borghorst, The second child are; Amalia Sophia Dehne also born at Borghorst on 25-03-1799 and baptist on the same day in the same church. She was married with Johann Henrich Schneider, born at 28-04-1798 in Lohne im Essen. She died on 06-07-1878 in Amsterdam and Johann died also in Amsterdam on 16-11-1867. If they had children are unknown.
The 3th child is (my ancestor) Richard Karel (Carl) Dehne, born on 10-01-1802 at Borghorst and also baptist on the same day. He died on 25-01-1874 in Amsterdam.
However the 2 living children leaved Germany and to go to Holland are they born in Borghorst. Of their mothersside from the Amersbeck family where also the parents born in Borghorst.
We do not know if we are related with the Dehne family that now live in Borghorst, Emsdetten or other near towns. We hope so. Maybe you know more about those family. My e-mailadres are jwfm.dehne@quicknet.nl
