Have been searching for family members of Hipolito Calcanas who started our blood line back in Leon, Mexico in roughly 1872. Hipolito was a Franch soldier who went to Mexico under Napoleon III and was possibly wounded and stayed in Mexico after the French pulled out in 1867. After his first wife died, he remarried again and had more children and this is the offspring i am looking for.
What i am researching for is my great grandfather who's name is Hipolito Calcanas. I am looking for off spring from him which started in the country of Mexico and they migrated to the United States, and Canada. I also know that he came from France and i am also looking for other family members that are from France.
