I'm looking for any info on the Rowe family from Co. Mayo, Ireland. Possibly from the Crossmolina or Belmullet areas.
Patrick Rowe married Bridget Ham or Hain(?) b1833. They had a daughter Celia born May 9th 1872. Celia married James O' Boye born c1878. They had at least 4 children: Patrick (Paddy) c1902 - 1989 (he married a Kathleen McLean), Mary J born c1902, Bridget c1907, and James c1908.
Both the Rowe family and the O' Boye family ran 2 seperate public houses on Erris Street, Crossmolina in the late 1800's/early1900's. The census' show that Celia and James ran a public house in Belmullet but by 1911 Celia was a widow.
