Looking for any information on the Deveneau family.
I'm first looking for the birth of Abram/Abraham Deveneau abt. 1813 or 1816 or 1826 Quebec (sometimes spelled Deveau, Deveu, Devneu, Devnow, Devnew, Devens, etc). His marriage to ???? (possibly Lucy ??? - Don't know if she's first or second wife) abt. 1840-1844 His parents ???? (which should be on baptism record and marriage record).
He migrated to America in 1836 possibly to NY (1 child born 1844- Eliza), then onto VT where 2 children - Lewis b: 1852 & Emilie b: 1853; then to MA - Charles Abram b: 1856 Dalton, MA; Rose b: Mar 1858 Southampton, MA; Franklin Justin b: Dec 1859 Southampton, MA; Joseph b: Aug 1862 Southampton, MA; Serantha Lucy "Queeny" b: Sep 1864 Richmond, MA. (NOTE: This information from 1870 Census of Chatham, Columbia, NY) - Name stated as Devens
