Goodday

I am looking for more information on Charles Frederick WILSON born around 1850 ( not sure where), died 1901 or 1903 in a train accident in Braamfontein South Africa. Married to Louisa ( presume nee Meyer). They spent some time in Bulawayo (then Southern Rhodesia) around 1896 onwards. One child was named Charles William WILSON born in Molteno south africa.

Can anyone help with names of parents, date of birth or where he was born.

Regards

Marcel Wilson

Dear Bruce

Thanks for the info. I have already drawn the death notice from the archives but no info on the parents appear. I can also not make out what is written under his citizenship field. It seems to read "redeemed". Have you come across something like this before? What does it mean?

Do you know ay other way/proposal how to trace him?

Kind regards

Marcel

Hi Marcel,

I thought as much after looking at the number of entries in your tree and I have never come across it.The only other option could be the DN of his siblings- if he had any
