Looking to connect to the Portwoods that traved to Georgia then later to Alabama. I am related through Benjamin Portwood born in 1755 of Currituke NC. I have cousins who descend from his son Dempsey where I descend from son Benjamin who married Mary Rebecca Ogletree on June 15, 1825 in Wilkes, County, Ga. I have many family connections.
