Hello All,

Iam looking for info regarding my GG Grandfather Andrew Strong.  He is supposed to have come from County Cork, Ireland.  He his wife (Sarah Elizabeth( Robb) Strong and family left Ireland in 1844 arriving in New York, NY then moved on to Huntingdon Co., Penn and lived near McConnellstown, Pa.  I found Sarah on the 1850 census along with their four children but no mention of Andrew, so he may have passed away by then.  Any info would be appreciated, my thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Jim Strong

Hi James,

My Strong research leads me to Ireland as well. My question to you is whether or not you know of any Strongs in your tree who ended up in Canada. I know that some of my relatives came from somewhere in Ireland, onto England and then to Canada. If you have any advice as to how to further my research in Ireland I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks,

Linda M. Regnier (nee Strong)

Hi Linda,

I am sorry to say that I know of no Strongs from my family that ended up in Canada.  Wish you all the best in your quest for info regarding your family.  I still have no info on Andrew Strong from County Cork, Ireland.

Blessings,

Blessings,

Jim Strong

Thank you! I have to look up my dates, I think I have some birthdates somewhere but I have limited Strong family research as there are not many relatives left to help me with it.
