Hello all, I have a rather complicated family story to try to piece together so any info at all is welcome! :)

My grandmother is Mary Elizabeth Ballard, maiden name Burke. Her father was John L. Burke, mother is Sadie Cross. She was born 1920 in TN, then married Clyde "Buster" Ballard, a farmer in Randolph Co, Arkansas. Now her kids were always told she had died of cancer in 1962, but none of them even remember a funeral, nobody has been able to find her grave, and there are no records of her funeral at the local funeral home that would have been responsible for burying her. The older kids say they remember she left one day and never came back.

Many years ago, in the late 80s my dad got a call from somebody saying they were looking for her and the last known address had been California.

If anybody has any leads for me or know of how I can track down any information I would love to hear it.
