My fathers name was Thurman Jackson (AKA Thumper) Lantrip, my father was born in Tenn, was a street fighter in Mich. as a young person, later my family moved to CA., when I was very young but we all moved all over the south

Lantrip family name, lived in (Memphis, Tenn), (Black Fish, Saint Francis, Ar.), OK, (Lansing, Ingham, Mich.), (Ontario, Huntington Beach, other locations in CA.), (Qitman, Miss.) plus many other locations.
My grandfather was Joseph Malichi Lantrip. He lived in East Texas and married Mary Francis Shell. He was a Methodist minister and served in the Confederate army and upon capture was placed into service by the northern army. I know he was married several times before marrying Mary Francis but have no names and would like to know more.
