I am a great-granddaughter of Franklin Jefferson Malpass (of New Hanover County, NC) who married Christina Garganous Kinion. His parents are Tom and Annie (Gurganous--spelling?) Malpass. My grandparents (Jesse Franklin--son of Franklin and Christina-- and Minnie Lee Diamond Malpass) lived in Mississippi.
