The above couple appears in the 1851and 1861 canadian census as farmers living in the Gatineau Qc., area.

Can not find them in the 1871 census.

They had a child John who would have immigrated from Ireland around 1827. John appears in the 1851 census as being 23.

John married Elizabeth Grant ( also beleived from ireland) in  Ottawa, Ont., July 21 1854.
