I have been tracking back my Brierton family and seem to be stuck. My gr. gr. gr. grandfather was Samuel Brierton who I believe to be the son of John and Jane Brewster Brierton. I also believe due to later information that he is a brother to Joseph Brierton who lived in Dixon, IL. I am trying to find the link between John and Samuel and would appreciate ANY information or clues. Census records show Samuels parents were from Wales (father) and Scotland (mother).
