It looks as though I'm the first Dane to post. So, my Danes come out of Kentucky. They lived there from about 1805-1900 in Wayne County. Many moved on to Texas in later years. Back then our famous Danes were James Dane-b.1773, William B. Dane- b.1807, David Dane, Littleton Dane, and so on. We had 6 Danes that fought in the Civil War from Kentucky.
