I am searching for a photograph of John Henry Crumpton, one of 15 siblings to Jesse and Emma Gillard (nee Round).
John Henry was born in 1873 in Dudley, England, married Margaret Elizabeth Dawber in 1902, and died in 1904, in Wigan.
I beleive that his mother and some brothers and sisters emigrated to Australia after the death of Jesse, his father, whilst others remained in England.
I know that its a long shot, but there may still be a photograph of him sill in existence.
Just been looking on the site for the first time and see that my dad Gordon Crumpton had already asked for a photo of John Henry. John Henry was my great grand father . My grandad was also John Crumpton .I went to find John Henry's grave in July of this year in Ince in Wigan. I didn't know that there was an Australian connection to the family. I'd love to hear more about it and John Henry's siblings.
