I am in Australia and have just finished a Jarman Family History book, which amongst others, is about the family of Thomas Jarman and Martha Barlow, who were among the 1820 British settlers that went to South Africa and lived in Grahamstown.
I thought I had covered everything from there, but if your Jarman is from that family line, I would like to communicate further with you and exchange information. there are various Jarman descendants from that line here in Australia and only yesterday, had their 2012 jarman Reunion.
