Just found your note and found your name interesting. I have had a look at my fmaily tree and cant find you or your father on it. My mother's father was a Robert Ferguson McEwan and her mother was a Margery Clark Leith. Is this just a fluke or is there a connection somewhere. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I cant find anything on the McEwan side so im up for any suggestions, all i know is that my fathers dad was adopted but he keep his name so im am finding it very hard. If it would help my grandmother's name was Gwen Thomas and my grandfather was James McEwan. I would love to hear of any imput.
