I am looking for information on Joseph H. Morrison. He was born 1809 in VIrgina and died in Fannin County, Texas. I have hit a brick wall with him. I can not find out who his parents were, who his siblings were, where he was born in Virginia. Nothing. Any information would be appreciated.

 Thank you.

MIGHT BE OF A LITTLE HELP.  DID YOU TRY ANCESTRY.COM?  FOUND A FEW REFERENCES TO JOSEPH FROM ANOTHER PERSON, THEN IN 1860 CENSUS, HE WAS 51 LIVING  "BEAT 5, FANNIN, TEXAS" THERE WAS A S.T. MORRISON, 50, WM. MORRISON, 13 AND A JAMES P. MORRISON, 10.

TEXAS LAND TITLE ABSTRACTS LIST HIM AT 50, PATENT DATE: 21 FEB. 1845, 640 ACRES, DISTRIC: FANNIN, COUNTY: FANNIN.

THERE IS ALSO THE MENTION OF THREE CHILDREN. ONE BY AN EARLY MARRIAGE AND TWO MORE BY A LUCINDA OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.  WHEN I DID A SEARCH, HE CAME UP AT TOP OF LIST.

I HAVE MORRISONS IN MY MOTHER'S FAMILY.  THEY MOSTLY CAME FROM PENN. AND SETTLED IN IOWA.

BUT TRY ANCESTRY.COM.  THEY GIVE A FREE 14 DAY TRIAL.

HOPE THIS HELPS SOME.
