I am searching for my husband, who is a Cahill, his Grand Father and Grandmother came to Canada in Oct. 1927, They came on a ship named "Mont Clare" Canadian Pacific that landed in Quebec, Canada, and they some how made their way to New West Minster, BC. The family was John Cahill born 1893, in Ireland, his wife, Christina Mary (maiden name unknown) born 1893, in Ireland. They had 4 son's possibly only 3 when they immigrated, named Stephan, Desmond, Christopher, Sean, and then the last was a girl named Gertrude, she was born in 1932 in Vernon, BC.
The main group of the family is still on the mainland of BC, while a small branch of Grandchildern are on Vancouver Island, BC.
